- BIO
Leonardo is a producer with a true vocation for exploring the dynamic intersection of film, music, art, fashion, and cultural diplomacy. His creative journey has unfolded across the USA, Europe, and Latin America, where he has crafted immersive stories that transcend borders and cultures, weaving together threads from diverse creative fields into a single, cohesive narrative tapestry.
LEONARDO MORALES SOSA
CEO & FOUNDER
LATINUM
His earliest inspiration can be traced back to childhood, watching classic movies with his family in Argentina. The moment he saw “A Dino De Laurentiis Production” flash across the screen, something awakened—a thrilling, mysterious spark ignited a lifelong passion for cinema, and ultimately producing films that leave an unforgettable positive impact.
With a background in political science, fashion journalism, and cultural diplomacy and a Master of Science in Media Management from The New School in New York City, Leonardo develops impactful projects with passion, authenticity and vision that resonate beyond the screens.

At the core of his work is a commitment to storytelling as both art and diplomacy—a tool for connecting, elevating, and inspiring audiences worldwide. This maxim was dramatically affirmed by Miss Futuro (2021), his debut film as a producer, which unexpectedly transcended boundaries: the movie was pirated and distributed on numerous alternative streaming platforms in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. This unplanned global reach reinforced his belief that a great story knows no borders.
Out of this spirit, he founded LATINUM, a New York-based production company devoted to creating “Universal Stories with a LatinX flair.” For Leonardo, each story is an invitation to (self)exploration and dialogue, a portal between worlds, and a reminder of art's boundless nature. Through his visionary approach, Leonardo is redefining what it means to be a disruptive independent producer, one story at a time.

LEONARDO MORALES SOSA (LMS): I am a film producer and work as the New York Brand Ambassador for Aubi & Ramsa. My journey with the company began serendipitously as a customer shortly after graduating with a Master's in Media Management at The New School.
I am grateful for the opportunity to work here, be a member of this wonderful community, and collaborate with fellow artists. My upcoming feature film, No Ghost Inside (2025), was shot at our store and various locations within our neighborhood, as I am committed to showcasing the Meatpacking District's cultural renaissance on a global scale.

IRAN

- GLOBAL IMPACT
Miss Futuro stands as a pioneering example of how piracy can be transformed into a powerful tool for market expansion and financing. Its global piracy leak enabled the film to bypass traditional barriers, securing visibility across key markets in the USA, Europe, Latin America, and India. This widespread, organic reach not only amplifies the film’s cultural resonance but also positions it as a valuable asset for studios and investors looking to tap into diverse global audiences. By analyzing piracy-driven metrics, Miss Futuro provides data-driven proof of demand, effectively turning piracy into a pre-market test. These insights allow us to present investors with compelling evidence of audience interest, positioning our films for official releases in high-demand regions. Ultimately, Miss Futuro demonstrates that when piracy is strategically harnessed, it can serve as a catalyst for international growth, brand-building, and increased financing opportunities, making it a trailblazer in modern film distribution strategies.
